Pastor Micah and Robin Wildauer

Bio

The Rev. Micah and Robin Wildauer serve the Lord as a missionary family through The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) in Belize, based in the capital city of Belmopan. Micah serves as a church planter throughout the country, working alongside a team of fellow missionaries and Belizean church leaders. He travels to preaching stations, catechizes those who faithfully gather for the Divine Service and Bible study, and reaches out to the lost through home visits. The goal of these efforts is to form self-sustaining congregations and a future church body. Micah also serves as an adjunct professor for Concordia the Reformer Seminary, the regional seminary located in the Dominican Republic, where he assists in the pastoral formation of men throughout Latin America.

Micah was born in Bremen, Ind., and baptized at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bremen. He is the son of two Lutheran school teachers. In 2006, he received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne. Before serving as an international missionary, Micah served as a dual parish pastor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Hope Lutheran Church, both located in Milwaukee, from 2006–2014.

Robin was born in Versailles, Mo., and baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church, Versailles. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, in 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in office information systems and financial computing. Micah and Robin enjoy spending time with their four children: Samuel, Elizabeth, David and Lydia. The family enjoys bike rides, wiffle ball, family gatherings and the occasional swim.

Prayers

Pray for Micah and Robin as they serve in Belize. Pray for the effective proclamation of the Gospel and the administration of the Sacraments among the Belizean people, in whichever language it may be. Ask for the fruitful formation of congregations and the raising up of men to faithfully serve as pastors. Pray for the missionary team to work together in the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, and ask for the peace of the Lord to be upon extended family members who remain in the United States. Let us give thanks for the work the Wildauers are doing in this part of the world.
