Did you know that Messiah has formed a Technology Committee? It's our goal to keep Messiah on the cutting edge of the Information Age. One of our first projects is to create and update member email lists, so please fill out a MESSIAH CONNECT CARD. You can pick up a card located either upstairs across from the coffee bar or downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Thanks for your help! If you want to help or join the committee contact the Vicar.

We also need 6-8 youth to help Easter Breakfast from 7-9 am and to help bus tables that Sunday morning. Volunteers can sign up in advance on the youth bulletin board. All Easter Breakfast proceeds go to supporting Messiah youth programs.

Today in Sunday School. The key point of today’s Sunday School lesson was that, in our sin, we are lost from God and doomed to die, but God, in His love, sought and found us and keeps us with Him forever. The Bible story was about Jesus seeking the lost as recorded by St. Luke (Luke 15). In your family discussions, talk about how God keeps us in the Word and the Sacraments through the work of the Holy Spirit. In the catechism, review the explanation to the Third Article of the Apostles’ Creed. How does this fit with the Bible story?
Calling all Church Members! Save the date of Saturday, April 24, 2010, for Concordia Lutheran School’s Annual Auction. The Auction’s theme this year is “Release.” Please plan to join us for this community event. Take a look at the display located in the Fellowship Hall with more information coming soon. One of the auction items this year is “Wine Cellar to Go.” Could you donate one of your favorite bottles of wine? If you have items to donate, please contact Lisa Meyer at 206.525.7407 or seameyer@comcast.net.
