Ladies Night Out ? Due to weather, we cancelled the January 16 Ladies Night Out and moved it to Monday, January 23. Join us for a taste of Latin America at Tropicos Breeze, a Salvadorian restaurant located at 9710 Aurora Ave N. RSVP to Bev Edmon. For the month of January, we will be collecting Bath Towels for Immanuel Lutheran &
Women's Cascade Compass Center. Donation can be left in the upstairs lounge across from the cookie bar.
Today in Sunday School ? Students learned the story "Jesus Calls Matthew." We sinners rejoice, for we, too, have been called from our own pigsty of sin to dine with Jesus around His table, and to be a friend of the friend of sinners. Consider discussing, "How did Jesus call Matthew to be one of His followers? How and why does Jesus call us to follow Him?"
Concordia is continuing to solicit donations for the Concordia Annual Auction. Save the date - March 31, 2012. Our theme for January is "Bookworm Bonanza." This week we could like to collect anything for readers. Donations may be left at the auction display downstairs in the lobby.
Next Sunday is Mite Sunday. Don't forget to bring in your Mite box and take a new one for next month. You can leave your Mites on the ushers counter in the back of the sanctuary.
