EQUIPPING THE PRIESTHOOD OF ALL BELIEVERS...Don’t all religions lead to God? Isn’t morality simply in the eye of the beholder? How can a good and all-powerful God allow evil? You’ll find answers to these questions by listening to Issues, Etc. It’s a radio talk show hosted by LCMS Pastor Todd Wilken and produced by Lutheran Public Radio. You can listen to what you want when you want at www.issuesetc.org.
Today in Sunday School the children learned about Jesus’s miracle of feeding 5,000 hungry people (John 6:1-14). They learned that in His love, God promises to care for all our physical and spiritual needs and gives us the greatest treasure-His Son and the gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation. As a family, talk about the many ways that God has provided for both your physical and spiritual needs. In the catechism, look at the explanation to the First Article of the Apostles’ Creed.
Calling all Church Members! Save the date of Saturday, April 24, 2010, for Concordia Lutheran School’s Annual Auction. The Auction’s theme this year is “Release”. Please plan to join us for this community event. Take a look at the display located in the Fellowship Hall with more information coming soon. If you have items to donate, please contact Lisa Meyer.
