Welcome to Messiah Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. We are a Christian congregation in the Wedgwood neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. Our service times are 8:00 and 10:45 on Sunday mornings. You are invited to join us–to receive and to celebrate God’s forgiveness and love.

What is Lutheranism?
We believe that Jesus is the Messiah and the Son of God. He allowed himself to be crucified to suffer the punishment we deserve. He rose from the dead; and he will come again to live with us. More on what we believe.

Our worship services use liturgies that are built around three things that communicate God’s forgiveness and love to us: his Word, Baptism, and Communion.

Adult Information Class (AIC)

If you would like to learn more about the Christian faith (especially from the Lutheran perspective), we offer this free class twice a year. The current class runs through January 2012.  The next class will begin in February 2012.
